![]() That's not even to mention Trish and Lady interacting with Vergil would be rather fascinating to watch as well.ĭevil May Cry as a series is very successful because of its tight and well refined gameplay that puts it at the head of the leaderboard in hack and slash/character action games (in my opinion). The interplay of father/son dynamics between Nero and Vergil would be a treat and then you've got wacky, fun, Uncle Dante there for the two of them to bounce off of as well. I mean, just the interesting family dynamics at play there would be fun to watch. That's also possible, but I don't think that they're really going to pass up the opportunity to have the descendants of Sparda all working together in the same place. And with Nero, Dante, and Vergil all at the forefront of the game, it'll be even better on the fanservice than DMC V was. If there is a next game, I'm guessing that Sparda is the focus. ![]() Not when there is still a story to tell with Sparda still being missing. But without Dante and Vergil, it won't at all feel perfectly right. You can carry DMC going forward with just Nero and I'd still buy it. Look at how they addressed Dante getting out of hell after the events of DMC 2 so that he's around for the events of DMC 4 and DMC V. And if they don't, then those two repairing their relationship in hell is a great ending for them.Ĭapcom have written themselves out of a deep hole before. Make no mistake, those two are absolutely getting out of hell some time. Hell, even Vergil alludes to the fact that he'll return for his book some day. I've seen this exact scene several times and I always say that they're absolutely not going to stick with this. Paired with Cereza's death and giving Viola the name "Bayonetta" I really hope they're not trying to do a "out with with old and in with the new" kind of situation. IMO Jeanne had the most lackluster death by the guy she spent the whole game saving, which we knew was evil because he literally has the same color scheme and design as the enemies. Viola is still considered a witch in training and I guess you can say her Faerie powers are the only reason she survived but whatever. You can argue that the umbra are still human and Sigurd could've stabbed her in the heart, but seeing as Cereza rips her heart out multiple times, also survived getting stabbed by Strider and just patched herself up like it was nothing, and even Viola survived Strider. She wasn't even killed by some tough adversary she was killed by a man in a in a pod with a laser sword. With all her feats and accomplishments throughout the games, being on par with Cereza, her character gimmick being that you can only actually witch time with moth within(which requires you to be hit) only to name a few it's weird. ![]() Like you can grab a Card Pack, Echoes of Memory, Figure boxes, REcords, Treasure Chest, Umbran Tears, etc.I think it makes absolutely no sense that Jeanne died at the end of the game. Along with this the game also has a lot of collectibles. You can easily clear up all the missions and reach the final chapter Single Truth. With these, there are four side chapters also.Īpprox gameplay hours are around 10 to 12 hours if you are playing on low difficulty. There are over 14 main missions in Bayonetta 3. How many Chapters/Main Missions are there in Bayonetta 3? ![]() So you have to finish the game first and then proceed to more rewarding gameplay. The only limitation is most of the customization, character selections, etc unlock the ones you have played in the main story. She is introduced at the very start of the game, and when unable to defeat a monster she falls into a portal. Viola is another interesting character of Bayonetta 3. Once you are one with the main story you will see a message at the end saying Jeanne is added to the Character Select. This is a mini-game where you have to take down enemies in Stealth. There is a small stealth kill mission in the side-scrolling mission. You will play as Jeanne a side chapter during the gameplay. You can then play the entire campaign as Jeanne on a different difficulty level. After completing the final mission you will see Jeanne is added to the roaster. Complete the full campaign story on any difficulty level to unlock Jeanne Bayonetta 3. ![]()
